We were honoured to join the team behind this fantastic project to witness HRH The Princess Royal officially open the garden.

Nestled within the grounds of the Princess Royal Spinal Injuries Centre, Northern General Hospital in Sheffield, Horatio’s Garden Sheffield and East, will support more than 360 in-patients, their family and friends, plus thousands of outpatients, as well as over 250 NHS staff who provide their expertise and unwavering support for those navigating the complexities of spinal injury, providing an oasis of calm for people adjusting to life after spinal injury.

Gold medal winner and Best in Show at the 2023 RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the garden has been lovingly recreated here in Sheffield. It's been a privilege to be part of the simply brilliant team who have gone above and beyond to bring the garden to life.

Eastwood Consulting Engineers provided comprehensive civil engineering support including the design of the resin bound footpaths and drainage, plus structural engineering solutions including the structural design element of the Garden Room, a greenlok vegetated retaining wall system, and foundation design for all the structures, ensuring a solid base for years to come.
