We were delighted to provide our structural engineering expertise in bringing set designer Ben Stones’ derelict factory vision to life. Working closely with TAKE 1 SCENIC SERVICES LIMITED, the lightweight steel roof frame was designed to be pre-fabricated off site in segments to allow easy piecing together on site, before being lifted into place over the world-famous Crucible stage.

Running until 2nd July to celebrate Sheffield Theatres 50th anniversary, ROCK forms one part of the ROCK / PAPER / SCISSORS production which sees three plays acted out across three theatres, simultaneously, by one cast.
